Very disappointing!!!!
This show was extremely disappointing, unlike his previous performances which were outstanding. I've seen Yo Quiero Bailar FEST two other times, and let me tell you, his shows ROCKED! He hardly sang any of his big hits, shortened my favorite, Cherry Bomb, and changed up Jack and Diane so it was hardly recognizable. I spent $160 to hear him sing all the songs I grew up with and rocked out to for 35 years. His new stuff is very depressing, more country folk songs than rock. Lyrics are now "nobody likes me" "No one's my friend" "The Devil's after me" People around me were actually booing him, and almost the entire row in front of me left within the first half hour. He told stories that lasted way too long, and by the end, I had no idea what he was talking about. He didn't even have the cameras showing him on the big screens in the Nokia theatre so that people in the back could see him. John, you were initiated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - stick with what made you famous and give your fans what they want. He didn't bother with an encore, which is highly unusual for a concert. It's all well and good to reinvent yourself, but stop listening and mimicking Bob Dylan.
